24 Days of Tea:
Reveal Website
The Problem
I created a 24-day curated tea experience for friends located in different cities. Each day’s tea is parsed into individual servings. How do I tell friends about each day’s tea?
The Objective
Ensure that the tea is consumed in the same order for every person and inform friends of each day’s tea including: name, type and brand without having to message each friend individually.
The Solution
Numbered tea servings and a custom website to “reveal” each day’s tea.
Insights
Part of the fun of any daily calendar is the surprise and delight of the reveal.
Design
To ensure that each friend enjoyed the same curated experience, I numbered each bag of tea to correspond to its applicable entry on the website.
Ease of use is important for any website. I made the tea “day” clearly visible on the front of each card to correspond to the label on the tea bag. To create surprise, I hid the day’s tea behind an image to allow for a reveal. Cards were colour coded based on the type of tea.
